Soundings Magazine featured Peter Truslow, the President of EdgeWater Power Boats, in the October 2014 edition of its boating publication. The “Talkin’ Boats” interview asks Truslow what makes EdgeWater Boats different from the others, in which Truslow explains the meaning behind the company’s tagline, “It’s Better on the Edge”. Truslow goes on to reveal that the 360CC, a new 36 foot center console model will debut soon. He describes the new 36-foot model as something better than your traditional center console boat, it has more seating and includes a small cabin in the console and a unique design. Below the deck, the 360CC has all the amenities of larger boat; a comfortable lounge, bunk, microwave, shower and sink.

When asked about production capabilities, Truslow emphasizes the company’s focus on product quality over volume of boats. The company has grown steadily over the years, recovering from the economic downturn in 2009 with record breaking sales for 2014. Truslow explains that it has been important for EdgeWater Power Boats to balance growth with product quality and company profitability. Soundings Magazine asks about new technology, changes in the boatbuilding industry, and where EdgeWater see its products heading in 5 and 10 years. Read the full article here at
